Offbeat Wines was established with a simple aim – to produce pure, unadulterated, and enjoyable English wines with environmental preservation and sustainability at the forefront of everything they do.
Hand-harvested from a parcel in Crouch Valley, Essex. Pinot Noir is suspended as whole bunches in a tank of direct-pressed Pinot Blanc juice to macerate for 3 weeks. The free-run juice from this process was aged in a combination of one glass carboy, a 5th fill Burgundy barrel and an Acacia barrel for 11 months before blending and bottling via gravity with no additions. (The press juice makes up part of Field Notes 2)
