
John Capuano makes wines in Santany at the Southern end of the Cote du Beaune. This one is from a parcel of premier cru vineyard they own in Maranges growing 100% Pinot Noir. The grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel vats followed by maturation in French oak barrels.
Full and rich wine, with aromas of red fruits, cherry and blackcurrant. Tannins of great finesse. Nice length and slightly spicy finish.
