Bottled unfiltered and without added sulphites to preserve purity and expression.
Tasting note and best served with:
A bright, mineral-driven Pinot Noir with vibrant aromas of tart red berries layered with subtle herbal and vegetal notes. Fresh, delicate and energetic on the palate, with fine tannins and a lifted, juicy finish. Best served slightly chilled alongside lamb stew, tapas, charcuterie and earthy vegetable dishes.
Producer and terroir information:
Domaine Pierre Frick is a twelve-generation family estate led by Jean-Pierre, Chantal and Thomas Frick in the heart of Alsace. A pioneer of biodynamic viticulture since the early 1980s, the domaine is internationally recognised for its deeply natural approach to winemaking, relying exclusively on indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar. The Pinot Noir Physalis comes from clay-limestone soils that bring freshness, mineral tension and finesse to the wine. From biodiversity in the vineyard to ageing in ancient oak foudres, every step is guided by a desire to capture the purest expression of grape and terroir.
