Collection: Natural Wine
What is Natural wine? - Although there is no official definition for natural wines there are certain prerequisites that everyone agrees on. In the Vineyard, farming practices must be organic, so no chemicals! In the winery, intervention has to be minimal, only natural yeasts used (rather than from a packet), no adding or taking away things like acid and water, wines should be unfiltered and unfined (or if any it is very minimal) and minimum amount of sulphites added to preserve the wine.
Why Natural wine? - It is how nature intended, a true representation of the terroir of where the wine comes from. Natural wines are fresh and alive from the vineyard through to the glass, wholesome and full of natural occurring microbiology.
