Vinification: 30 year old riesling vines from parcels scattered on the Bockenheimer hill. Macerated for 12 hours before pressing, spontaneous fermentation, aged in stainless steel. Loess, loam with lots of shell limestone soils.
Steely, electric natural riesling with lots of energy.
5th generation winemaker Daniel Brand first brought organic production to his Bockenheim family farm in 2007 and joined by brother Jonas started producing natural wine without sulphites in 2014. Riesling and Pinot Blanc dominate their collection making wines with youthful attitude. 16 hectares are on loam soils with lots of shell limestone. one of the coolest climate sites on Pfalz.
