Coudoulet de Beaucastel comes from Château de Beaucastel vineyard, just east of R.N.7 that is denominated Côtes du Rhône although it has the same geological formation. It is made principally with Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes grown without the use of chemical fertilisers, herbicides or systemic pesticides, and each varietal is harvested and vinified separately. The resuling blend is full-bodied, with complex aromas and muti layered flavours, and ripe, peppery raspberry truit. In keeping with the Perrin family's tradition of natural wine maing this long-lived wine has not been fitered before botting and vil throw a sediment in time. Decanting is recommended.
