Vinification: Manual harvest, whole bunch grapes are fermented on skins in stainless steel for 10-30 days. Native yeasts used at ambient temperatures. Matured in both foudre and some smaller barrels. Malolactic fermentation. Unfined and unfiltered.
Rich and deep amber in colour. Aromas of ripe and golden plums and apricots. Soft and velvety with a hint of less on the finish. A delicious slightly funky orange wine.
The Arndorfer family are a perfect example of artisan and natural wine producers. The soil is at the heart of what they do, farming organically, biodynamically and lovingly. They create wines using grapes that grow perfectly within the region and express the terroir of Kamptal. The wine making is raw and minimal with very little or no sulphur and no fining or filtration.
