Winemaking: Canaille Gamay Rouge is made from gamay that is hand picked and fermented in whole bunches, a small proportion under CO2. Cold fermentation occurs in steel tanks embedded in 1.2m of solid rock.  Bottled without fining or filtration and using minimal sulhpur.

Canaille Gamay Rouge bursting with strawberries and cherries. Classic Gamay bubblegum with floral notes. Light and fresh, naturally made beauty! 

Vincent Roussely is 4th generation winemaker at Clos du Roussely. He's worked tirelessly to revamp the vineyard and winery to strict organic standards. The plough the clay and limestone soils by horses and work organic dung and leaf mould in. The vineyards border the appelations of Touraine and Touraine Chenonceaux and are planted with Sauvignon, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Cot and Pineau D'Aunis.
