Viticulture: Organic Farming / Natural Wine
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested and direct pressed to stainless steel tanks, with just a few hours of contact with the skins to provide color. Fermentation takes place under temperature control and lasts about two weeks. The wine rests for another 4 weeks and then is racked once, then rests on the lees for another 8 weeks. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with a small addition of sulphur.
Light, juicy, fresh and fun. The perfect summer rosé full of personality, red fruits and lip smacking acidity.
Christina Netzl has been working her family vineyards since 2007 focusing on the typical style of their unique Carnuntum region. Soils are red gravel and loess. During this time soil conditions, micro-climates and natural conditions in the vineyards got more and more important to her and her husband and so they decided to change to organic production in 2013. They have been certified organic since 2018.
