Wine making: Manual harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats for 15 days using ambient yeasts. Aged in stainless steel for another 6 months. No malolactic fermentation, unfined, unfiltered and low sulphur.
Flavours of fresh citrus, and lots of stone fruits make this a joy to drink on it's own or with any light meal.
The Vesco family took over these vineyards in the 1990s and revolutionised the practices. Now they use high tech equipment and no pesticides. Located in the Alcamo hills on sandy soils at 150-350m above sea level. They make seriously good value natural wines!
