Edgar Brutler crafts organic, minimal-intervention wines rooted in family tradition dating back to the 1850s, when his ancestors settled in Transylvania. After returning to Romania in 1997, he launched his winery in 2018 in Crișana, at the foot of the Carpathians. Farming without chemicals on iron-rich soils, Edgar focuses on native varieties like Fetească Regală, Blaufränkisch, and his signature Grünspitz. Trained at Geisenheim and in Austria, he combines precision and intuition to produce expressive, unfiltered wines in a 200-year-old cellar.
