Winemaking: Hand harvested grapes are pressed straight to used barrels and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine undergoes natural malolactic fermentation. Aged in barrels for 6 months. Unfined and unfiltered.
A perfect balance of citrus and apples with the creaminess and body from the barrel ageing and malo.
From winemaker Xavier Goodridge and Les Caves de Pyrene with an aim to create great value low intervention wines. The grapes for this chardonnay were harvested from the Einka vineyard in the Onkapringa Valley in the heart of the Adelaide Hills.
