Winemaking: The Verdejo grapes are harvested from 20 year old vines by hand during the day, by machine and then again at night. Vinified separately and then masterfully blended back together.
Bodegas Menade is a family run vineyard based a kilometre away from the town of Rueda. Grapes come from 20-25 year old vines on pebbly, clay and chalky soils at 800m altitude. They put nature at the heart of what they do and produce some amazing natural and organic wines using certified grapes.
Lots of stone fruits with herbaceous thyme and fennel. The palate has a nicely round texture with a crisp acidity and minerality.
Vegan wine with only natural yeasts used from organic grapes.
